Acura MDX 2024

The 2024 Acura MDX is a premium three-row SUV for drivers who appreciate athletic handling over outright luxury. A 290-hp V-6 engine powers most models and provides plenty of grunt. Every MDX provides a fun experience for those behind the wheel, but it’s especially true in the sportiest Type S trim, which comes standard with all-wheel drive, a 355-hp turbocharged V-6 and an adjustable air suspension system. Seating is spacious for adults in the first and second rows, but the MDX’s rearmost row is suitable only for kids. The interior design is upscale and offers a good amount of tech features but if you’re seeking outright luxury and the finest materials you’ll be better served by rivals such as the Genesis GV80, the Mercedes-Benz GLE-class, and the Volvo XC90. The Acura is cheaper than those alternatives though, so if you’re not fussy it’ll save you a bundle and bring a more satisfying driving experience to your driveway.
